SUMMER CHANGES

The summer months are bringing some much-needed change to our lives.

After several months of hot season, the rains have begun and things are starting to cool off. What a welcome relief!

Our new college graduate daughter, Elizabeth, has arrived home for the summer and we are thrilled to have our chick back in the nest! She will keep busy teaching English, decorating cakes for profit, teaching a Bible study to the girls in our church, and participating in many other activities. It's so great to catch up on the past 8 months that we have been apart.

School at the International School of Ouagadougou will be finished on June 10th and I will get a break from my librarian job. In July I will be heading to Germany to take my last two graduate classes.

Our older daughter, Sarah, and her husband and son will be coming for a couple of weeks in July as well, an event that we are eagerly anticipating. Can't wait to get our hands on our adorable grandson, Levi!

June and July are exam months for our students here in Burkina and we have a number of young people in our church who are involved in taking exams in order to move to the next level of their education. This next Sunday we will be having special prayer for them.

The one thing that will not change this summer is that we will have many opportunities to touch peoples' lives with the Good News that Christ gave His life for them. That News never changes and never gets old!
